She is a QA automation engineer and performance tester at ABC Fitness, and before that she tested online auto loan processing at Citi and worked as an accessibility tester at Cigna Healthcare. In Sharmina's words

A tool that gives the right answer but can't be used with a keyboard or a screen reader isn't finished. I check both.

Questions for Sharmina

What does an accessibility check cover?
Every button has to work with the keyboard alone, the focus has to be visible and a screen reader has to announce the result when it changes. I also check color contrast in light and dark mode, since the site has both.
Why automate tests for a converter?
A converter has hundreds of inputs worth checking, and the answers never change: 255 is always FF. That makes it a good fit for automation. Once the cases are written, they run after every change, so a fix in one tool can't quietly break another.
What does performance testing mean for a tool that runs in the browser?
There's no server to load-test, so I look at the page: how fast the tool is ready to type into, and whether a very long input, like a few megabytes of binary, freezes the tab.
